Cat. #00104101: MORGAN CONWAY

Quite scarce vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in 1939. In good condition for its age. Silver screen tough guy Morgan Conway starred as police detective Dick Tracy in the first two full-length film installments of R.K.O.'s adaptation of Chester Gould's beloved comic strip, Dick Tracy (1945) and Dick Tracy vs. Cueball (1946). Actor Ralph Byrd had previously portrayed the titular gumshoe in the serial films of the late 1930s and early 1940s.
